The National Association for Public Relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NASO RK) was established on 20 June 2001 at the initiative of several leading companies providing professional public relations and communications services.
NASO RK's mission is to foster and advance the professional communications industry in Kazakhstan.
NASO RK is a member of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), representing the interests of Kazakhstan's communications industry on the international stage. Through its membership, the Association participates in global industry research and promotes international best practices in communications across the local market.
NASO RK actively advocates for the interests of the communications industry through public initiatives, open letters, industry events, and policy advocacy.

- XXII International PR Forum in AlmatyThe XXII International PR Forum took place in Almaty on 21–22 May 2026, bringing together communications professionals from across Kazakhstan for two days of inspiring discussions, practical insights, and meaningful conversations about trust, reputation, and the future of communications.
The Forum explored a wide range of topics, including trust as the new currency of business, the evolving role of CEOs in corporate communications, the impact of PR and marketing on brand value, engagement with diverse stakeholder groups, and the importance of internal communications in an era of global transformation.
Leading communications experts, PR directors, business executives, media representatives, and professionals from Kazakhstan's largest organizations shared the stage to exchange expertise, present successful case studies, and discuss the latest trends shaping the communications industry.
